Hero’s Journey: Ms. Thompson

I came to Sunrise Manor for therapy after a broken ankle bone. I needed help getting back on my feet. And with the help of a rollator, I will be going home tomorrow! I have made many good friends here at Sunrise that I am going to miss. You can not get any better than the Rehab team here at Sunrise, but I am happy to go home to my pets!

Hero’s Journey: Donnie
Donnie came to us after having a stroke. He needed rehab to help gain his strength back. With the help of staff and our therapy team he is feeling better and is ready to return home. He said that if he ever had to go back to a rehab facility that he would return to Sunrise. He said everyone was good to him and friendly. Likewise, he enjoyed his stay with us, but was ready to return home and see his grand children!
Learning At Camp Sunrise

We love learning new things with the Larue County Library. Camp Sunrise enjoyed learning to make jewelry and had so much fun. Does Summer Camp really have to end?

Larue Chamber Luncheon

Signature HealthCARE of Sunrise was glad to sponsor the Larue Chamber luncheon today. Audrey Mercer, Regional Director of Business, partnership did a great job giving testament to all that Signature HealthCARE does. Lorrie McCoy, Admissions, at Sunrise along with Stephanie and Shannon, from our Sister faculties of North Hardin And E-town, were also there. It was so exciting to tell our story, and of course see Abe. Thanks to the amazing dietary staff for the great lunch. One of Abe’s famous quotes is, “Whatever you are be a good one”. Words to live by.
